We’re all mad, here

Well, what would you like to know? I was born in Michigan, grew up in Wisconsin, lived in California for 13 years after high school, and currently live in Minnesota. I was a Computer Science major, then a Technical Theatre major, and finally earned my B.A. in English-Creative Writing from California State University, Long Beach. I began a Master’s program in Psychology just before leaving California and somehow completely failed to successfully transfer to the university’s Minnesota campus.
I’ve worked as a library page, a Sandwich Artist, a secretary, a worm packer, a word processor, a theatre tech, and an editor. At the time of this writing, I’m temping in Minnesota and copy editing for a company in Scotland.
For a decade, I was an Annual Passholder at Disneyland, and that was honestly the hardest thing to leave behind when I left California. I have no intention of ever “growing up” – I see no profit in it. Act like a responsible adult? Sure. “Grow up” and be apologetic for loving the things I do? Never.
Freakish abilities:
- Spotting typos and other errors (yes, I am a self-proclaimed grammar Nazi).
- Remembering quotes – I will randomly quote Shakespeare, films, books (see top of this page!).
